Akron’s new gate valve is constructed of
lightweight Pyrolite® with a heavy-duty wedge
gate design, a non-rising sterm and a handwheel
for easy operation at standard pressures. The
handwheel can also be utilized as a carrying handle for
easy transport of the valve. The unique design of the
Gate Valve provides minimal friction loss and meets
the NFPA slow close requirements.
