The blade of the 1st
Response® is designed to
make it effective for several
emergency procedures. It is
made form 1/8" thick high
carbon stainless steel and is
heat-treated for maximum
resistance to breakage as waell
as edge holding abillity. The
cutting edge is serrated
so that when it is used to
cut through seat belt
material, canvas, or
heavy clothing, it is
more like a razor-sharp
saw than a knife blade.
