This gas leak detector has a calibrated alarm that gives early warning of presence of combustible gases, while the sensor’s high sensitivity (to 10ppm) allows immediate leak detection. Here’s how the gas leak detector works: a constant, audible “tick” increases in frequency as you move closer to the gas source. When you reach the source (or 10% LEL) an audible alarm and red light will both be activated. A patented sensor cap prevents contamination of the sensor. Alarm is preset at 10% of LEL of methane.
