This leather glove has a four layer Kevlar® knit wristlet for unsurpassed protection without distortion and extra-long leather pull patch. Fireman VIII leather gloves have a unique construction with a securely attached SEF liner and "DURATEX" membrane attached to the glove shell. Meets NFPA 1971 (1997 edition), Ul Classified. We recently purchased the fireman VIII gloves, size extra small for a female member of our department. Standard issue gloves weren't a good fit for her. She has not had many opportunities to wear them in action yet, but she said that they fit and feel good, and so far she really likes them. A great glove for a small hand.
