Halotron is a clean fire extinguishing agent that is discharged as a precisely dispersed rapid evaporation liquid. It performs in a manner similar to Halon 1211 but leaves no residue and is effective against Class A,B and C fires. The primary extinguishing mechanism is the absorption and removal of heat from the combustion zone. Halotron utilizes an HCFC (HydroChlororFluorocarbon), non-conductive based agent pressurized with argon. What's more, the Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) is nearly zero; that's twelve times lower than the EPA maximum. Each extinguisher is has a barcoded label for documenting location, inspection, repair, etc. Ideal for use on electrical equipment, computers, vehicles, laboratories and aircraft rescue firefighting.
