K-Tool or R-Tool (Jul 30, 2008) |
| Reviewer: Jeffrey S Austin FF EMT-FR Planet Earth |
| There is a difference between the two tools and it really depends on your first due area. If you are in a primarily commercial or industrial area, then the K-Tool is the way to go. Otherwise, go with the R-Tool. The difference is the size of bite into the lock. Residential deadbolts require a lock case puller that has a deeper bite, such as the R-Tool. Commercial and industrial roll up locks don't protrude much beyond 1/2 |
