We include one on every fire truck we build. It's recommended equipment of the NFPA for protection from short circuits. All switches disconnect the battery from the electric system at the turn of the switch. Dual battery switch positions include, OFF, BATT. #1, BATT. #2, and BOTH. For 6-36 volt systems. Also available to meet KKK-A-1822A ambulance specifications. Single battery switch includes two positions; ON and OFF. For 6 or 12 volt only. Dual battery switch measures 5 1/2" in diameter, single battery swtich measures 2 1/2" in diamter. All switches have continous duty rating of 175 amps. Ship. wt. 1 lb.
