     I worked for a time with the US Forest Service, Black Range District, clearing and re-routing trails on the Great Divide in New Mexico. The McLeod was a principal tool used for getting down to the dirt after heavier brush was cleared. The teeth raked out the twigs, grasses and brush. The back smoothed the trail and backslope really well. One of my favorite tools.
