A unique and innovative fire axe design. This is truly a quality hand tool to be used for ventilation, forcible entry, confined space, extractions and much more. Fire axe head is made of drop forged, hi carbon, heat-treated polished steel. This fire axe is lightweight (less than three pounds) with a center balance that gives you a solid feel with less stress. Carrying pocket is made of F.R. Cotton scabbard with 11/2" Kevlar belting. Quick-release buckle opens the carrying pocket for instant access. Ship. wt. 7 lbs.

We ordered the hickory handle truckman battle axe and were very satisfied with the product. We actually had the handle engraved for the leader of our fire ops program and he was very impressed. Everyone noted the clean and professional look of the tool. The hickory handle is well worth the extra money. We are looking forward to our next purchase.
