The direct grip gloves have a highly engineered Insular textile construction for the back of the hand, thermal and flame resistance with increased pliability for added range of hand and finger motion. A good glove but when it is very hot in a fire or wet the glove falls apart. I have used it in 5-6 fires now and the glove is falling apart by the thumb and index finger. Not worth the money.
