The Fire Mate™ leather gloves have Kangaroo leather
palms, and are combined with a soft elkskin back to
produce uncomparable comfort while maintaining
unsurpassed dexterity. The kangaroo leather of these fire gloves provides
exceptional slash and puncture resistance, while absorbing
less water than traditional leather. Less water absortion
means less hand fatigue, and faster
drying time. In addition, the thermal lining of these fire gloves
contains 35% Kevlar for additional slash and
puncture protection. The Fire Mate™ leather gloves
are NFPA 1971 compliant.
