Prusik cords are integral components in
most rescue operations. Sterling prusik
cord is made to the same standards as
all our other rope products. These cords
have a good combination of suppleness
and strength and they remain round. The
right balance of suppleness is important
for the cord to “grab” the host line.
Sterling cords have higher twist levels
in their sheaths and cores. This construction
gives the cords the characteristics
needed for a prusik cord; good flexibility,
knotability, and outstanding durability.
