So you get the brightness and range of an incandescent bulb, plus an LED that runs 50,000 hours. The Jr. Luxeon is also maintenance free. You’ll never have to change the bulb or deal with bulb replacement costs. Remarkably handy, it’s as compact as a pen, and offers a push-button tailcap for steady “on” and momentary “on/off”. | This is an update of my previous review. I received my new flashlight but when I moved the band from my old helmet to my new one it snapped. I'm now using the light in my emt kit and its great for that use. |

| I bought this light and the rubber helmet band and it was a great light, very bright, easy to turn off and on with gloves when using the rear push button. The only bad thing was that I did not check the batteries periodically and they wound up leaking and totally fubared the flashlight. I'm buying another but will check the batteries every month this time. |
