The RescuePac™ is an advanced water rescue innovation that can be quickly donned over any duty uniform or street clothing, usually in less than sixty seconds. The RescuePac™ was designed to allow the first on-scene responder to assess the situation, place the call for dive-team backup, and initiate the location extraction of the victim while the dive team is en route, saving valuable time and increasing the chance of finding the victims while they are still alive. The RescuePac™ can be stored in areas that would never accomodate a full set of scuba gear, because of its small size. The aluminum tank can provide up to fifteen minutes of air at the surface. The air cell remains stowed under the protective cover and can be partially inflated to achieve positive flotation. The cover’s specially designed breakaway zipper bursts open to provide instant inflation (up to 36 lbs. of lift) yet can be repacked and fastened quickly in the field.
