CMC’s Load Release Strap makes
sizing and tying a load-releasing hitch
easy. Testing by Rigging for Rescue
demonstrated that several of the strap-based
load-release hitches would fuse under
high impact loads. Our improved design has
significantly decreased this potential problem
while maintaining the ease of tying and
releasing. The test results of the five samples
ranged from a minimum of 6,200 lbf. to a
maximum of 10,900 lbf. Length when fully
