The Tomcat features a contoured board design that has rigid paddles with foam contact areas that can be rapidly deployed and conveniently snapped down in the backboard for storage. The head area is naturally elevated to provide neutral spinal alignment and has Integrated Glasgow Coma Scale and Rule of 9’s provide quick reference guides. The integrated O2 clip provides a quick and easy method to attach a nasal cannula or O2 mask. The foam and straps are disposable which decreases the possibility of cross contamination. A sturdy, lightweight backboard, the Tomcat ICID features a fully functioning cervical immobilization device ready to deploy within seconds. The contoured backboard features 12 extra large hand holes with separate holes for pins, making it possible to accommodate gloved hands. The ICID is X-Ray translucent, MRI and CT-scan compatible, and weighs only 16 lbs. Elevated occipital padding area aids cervical spine alignment.
