The greater flexibility of this fire hose makes it resistant to kinking and more maneuverable, freeing the firefighter to concentrate on the job at hand—saving lives and fighting fires. The DarQuest Lightweight Fire Hose requires less storage space allowing more room to transport additional fire hose and firefighting equipment. A Special Hypalon® Blend Coating reduces water pick-up and increases abrasion resistance. This fire hose is made of premium materials that are quality tested before, during, and after manufacturing. High-strength, low-stretch yarns produce a highly abrasion-resistant, lightweight attack hose. The high-tech thermoplastic lining eliminates ozone deterioration found in look-alike fire hoses. Lining meets the NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) Standard 14 for potable water and has a tensile strength over 2,000 psi. Sold per 50 foot coupled lengths. Meets the NFPA 1961 fire hose standards. Tested and stenciled in accordance with NFPA Standard 1961. Available in orange only. Fire hose couplings are hard-coated, lightweight, rocker lug.
