The Dechlorinating Diffuser uses either LPD-Chlor™ Tablets (contains Sodium Sulfite 81.3%) or Vita-D-Chlor™ Tablets (Ascorbic Acid-Vitamin C) that neutralize the chlorine/ chloramines in the water you are flushing. When using the LPD-CHLOR tablets, the Dechlorinating Diffuser consumes about 1 tablet per 2,500 gallons - the feed tube should be topped off with additional tablets after each increment about 10,000 gallons of flow.
Weighing 33 lbs., the Dechlorinating Diffuser is heavy enough to take the day-to-day abuse of flushing.
You can flush straight off a hydrant or attach a hose to point the flow where you want it to go.
Handle flows from 200 - 1,250 gpm and hydrant pressures up to 200 psi.
