Applications
The Applicator Wand is primarily used in wildland firefighting to apply water or fire retardant to vegetation and other combustible materials. Its lightweight and durable design make it ideal for use in remote and rugged environments.
How It Is Used
- Assembly: Connect the two aluminum tubes using the brass connectors to form a 4-foot wand. Attach the brass spray tip to the end of the wand.
- Attachment: Connect the wand to a water source using the 3/4″ GHT fitting.
- Operation: Direct the spray tip towards the target area and adjust the flow as needed to apply water or fire retardant effectively.
- Disassembly: After use, disconnect the wand from the water source and disassemble the tubes for easy storage and transport.
