It currently only costs an average of a little over $3.80 per student/firefighter to complete 10 of the features/procedures on the simulator (not including store-bought locks for the lock cutting/breaking simulator, the many different styles, sizes, and strengths affect the cost). An initial starter set of consumables is included, with a retail value of $390.

This feature demonstrates plunge-cutting steel commercial doors with a K-12 saw that utilizes panic bar hardware. Use a framing square through the cut groove and hook and release the panic bar, thus opening the door. You can achieve up to 25 cuts in each plate before replacement is necessary. This feature may also be used with glass or plexiglass for meeting other NFPA 1001 JPRs for window forcible entry.
