In normal operation, the valve is open allowing a maximum flow of 1,250 GPM. However, should the monitor start to tip for any reason, the valve closes, cutting the flow area by 90% and reducing the reaction force. By not closing completely, it allows a continuous flow, minimizing a water hammer. Take a look at all the great features of the Crossfire®.
